The Challenge

The organization was operating on a legacy SAP HCM system with disparate talent management systems that no longer met its evolving needs.

Key HR tools were not integrated with each other and with third-party systems, leading to inefficient, paper-based processes and fragmented data. Recruitment and onboarding workflows—particularly for volunteers—were siloed, limiting visibility and slowing operations.

The organization needed to modernize its HR and finance systems to:

  • Improve process efficiency
  • Establish a single source of truth for data
  • Enhance compliance tracking (including employee health requirements)
  • Deliver a more user-friendly, digital-first experience

The Solution

LSI partnered with the organization to lead the implementation of SAP SuccessFactors as part of a broader transformation initiative.

The solution included key SuccessFactors modules:

  • Employee Central (EC)
  • Recruitment Management (RCM)
  • Recruitment Marketing (RMK)
  • Onboarding (ONB)

These modules enabled streamlined recruitment workflows, automated approvals, and an improved user experience.

LSI also developed a custom occupational health portal and reporting framework, allowing the organization to track employee health data, compliance requirements, qualifications, and disciplinary actions in one centralized system.

To ensure seamless operations, LSI integrated SuccessFactors with several critical systems, including payroll, workforce management, benefits platforms, healthcare systems, and directory services.

A second phase of the transformation included a transition to SAP S/4HANA, along with expanded integrations and a redesigned cost center structure to support financial operations.

  • A centralized system serving as a single source of truth for HR and finance data
  • Improved employee self-service capabilities, empowering thousands of users
  • Automated tracking and reminders to ensure compliance with health and regulatory requirements
  • Streamlined volunteer recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Enhanced visibility across workforce data and operations

By modernizing its technology landscape, the organization now operates with greater agility, improved compliance, and a more connected workforce—positioning it to continue delivering high-quality care while driving innovation through digital transformation.
