LSI Consulting Launches SupplierFlex, a Supplier Self-Service Solution Built on SAP Business AI Platform

A supplier self-service suite that brings suppliers directly into the enterprise — with native data validation, AI-based document information extraction, and real-time integration to SAP S/4HANA and ECC

Boston, MA – August, 25th, 2026–– LSI Consulting today announced the launch of SupplierFlex, a supplier self-service solution built on the SAP Business AI Platform (BAIP) that connects external suppliers directly to an organization's SAP S/4HANA or ECC backend.

SupplierFlex addresses a problem that persists in organizations of every size: supplier data arrives by email, spreadsheet, and PDF, then gets rekeyed by internal teams — introducing errors, delaying onboarding, and creating compliance exposure that only surfaces during reconciliation. SupplierFlex moves that work to the supplier, behind a secure portal, and validates every field at the point of entry rather than after it reaches the system of record.

" Our clients do not want another system to maintain. They want their suppliers to maintain their own data, correctly, the first time. SupplierFlex is built around that outcome, and it works the same way regardless of your industry."— Nader Tirandazi, Chief Executive Officer, LSI Consulting.

SupplierFlex pairs a secure external portal with checks that run as data is entered. Suppliers self-register with multi-factor authentication and enter their own address, tax, and banking information. Native data validation checks each field live against the
customer's SAP backend, while integrations with third-party services verify banking details, vendor SSN and EIN identifiers, and mailing addresses before a record is ever created. On final approval, the SAP Business Partner master record is created and synced automatically.

Once registration is complete, suppliers can submit invoices — PO or non-PO — directly through the same portal, routed securely to the organization running SupplierFlex. Each invoice passes through its own set of validations, including active budget checks against whichever model the organization uses — native light budgeting, or alignment with SAP Project Systems, SAP Funds Management, or SAP Grants Management. For PO-based invoices, the related purchase order data is derived automatically to support three-way matching, surfacing the open GR quantity and remaining value on that PO so suppliers always know what's left to invoice against. The solution also applies AI-based document extraction through SAP BAIP: uploaded invoice images are read and the relevant fields populated automatically, reducing manual entry on non-PO volume in particular.

Key modules, adopted independently or together

SupplierFlex is organized into key modules — covering Supplier Management, Invoice Registration, Purchasing, Inbound Delivery and Goods Receipts, and Budget Control — that can be deployed individually or as a complete suite, allowing organizations to begin where their process is weakest and extend from there.

For budget control, SupplierFlex supports four approaches: native light budgeting, built entirely within SupplierFlex and requiring no additional SAP module, or direct integration with SAP Project Systems, SAP Funds Management, or SAP Grants Management for organizations already running those components, enabling active budget checks during invoice processing and purchase order creation.
